Nogizaka46 (乃木坂46, Nogizaka Forty-six) is a Japanese female idol group produced by Yasushi Akimoto, created as the official rival (公式ライバル kōshiki raibaru) of the group AKB48. They are the first group from the Sakamichi Series, which also includes sister groups Keyakizaka46, Yoshimotozaka46, and Hinatazaka46.

The group's musical catalogue includes twenty-four singles and five compilation albums. Starting with their third single, each of Nogizaka46's single releases have reached the top position on the weekly Oricon chart, and each single since "Influencer" has sold at least one million copies. The group has also created radio shows, theater productions, television programs, and films, including Nogibingo!, Hatsumori Bemars, Nogizaka Under Construction, Asahinagu, and a series of documentary films about the group.

Nogizaka46 has twice won the Grand Prix at the annual Japan Record Awards, with consecutive wins for "Influencer" in 2017 and "Synchronicity" in 2018. The group has sold nearly 18 million CDs in Japan.

It was held at Makuhari Messe. The group had its true anniversary on August 21, 2012 and had a Mini-Live on this day. This concert was held six months later and was still in celebration of the anniversary, even though by the time this concert was held Nogizaka46 had existed for 1.5 years.

The second tour of Nogizaka46 was held from August 19 - October 6, 2013. At each of the six venues, an afternoon and an evening performance was held. This gives a total of 12 performances over the duration of the tour.

Nogizaka46 1st Photobook "Nogizaka Ha" released!

The Photobook featured shots of the members in swimsuits. This is the first time Nogizaka46 members have taken photos in swimwear, a milestone for the group. The decision was somewhat shocking to both members and fans though, since the Nogizaka46 image is often labeled as modest, conservative, or elegant.

Asahinagu (あさひなぐ) is a stage play and a movie featuring members of Nogizaka46. It is based on the Kozaki Ai's sports manga that began serialization in Big Comic Spirits magazine in 2011. The stage play performances were held in Tokyo from May 20-31 at the EX Theater Roppongi, in Osaka from June 2-5 at the Morinomiya Piloti Hall, and in Nagoya from June 9-11 at Aichi Prefectural Art Theater. And the main role of the movie is Nishino Nanase, meanwhile the stage play was Saito Asuka.

Migoroshi Hime (見殺し姫) is a stage play performed by members of Nogizaka46's 3rd Generation. The performances are being held at the AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo from the 6th through the 15th of October 2017. It is an original stage play written by Takeshi Matsumura who will also direct.
